The Palace Gardens Homestead, the award-winning assisted living and memory care community, is inviting the public to “Give Cancer the Boot: A Night of Line Dancing”, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life on Thursday, July 26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The western-inspired event welcomes costumes and line dancing demonstrations and instruction will help novices learn the basics. Tickets are $25.00 per person and line dancing, hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails are included.

“We are really excited about this event at The Palace Gardens,” said Elizabeth Martinez, director of administrations and event organizer. “The American Cancer Society is near and dear to our hearts and we are happy to sponsor the event to raise awareness for such an important cause.”

Proceeds from the event will benefit American Cancer Society Relay for Life, an organization dedicated to fighting cancer by advancing research, education, screening and treatment.

“It is a Palace mission to help others by giving back to the community. We look forward to making it “Give Cancer the Boot” one of the most successful fundraisers for the organization,” she added.
